One Fine Day :)

This Sunday, Gabriel and I went to Japanese area as I run out of Fish sauce :) It was a very fine sunny day and we spent some 2hrs walking around and eating Japanese street food. Gabriel also had Pastel at the best pastel restaurant in São Paulo. Hope you enjoy some photos I quickly took today :)

Thai ingredients :D

Since I arrived in Brazil, I cook almost every day, and all I cook is Thai dish :) I'm so happy that Gabriel loves Thai food and that's one of the reason that I allow myself to cook.

From my previous visiting toBrazil, I knew that I could fine some Thai ingredients and products in Japanese area, so I was not so worry.

Surprisingly, I found more things that I didn't expect to find here which is Shrimp paste or "Ka-pi" and Oyster sauce or "Nam-man-hoy":P To be honest, Gabriel is not so happy with Ka-pi as the smell is really strong and bad (for him) :P Every time I want to cook the dish by using Ka-pi, I prefer to do when Gabriel is not home.

My very first Thai friend

On 30th December 2010, Gabriel and I traveled to Rio de Janeiro for celebrating New Year with family and friends. Before that, I found out that there is one Thai lady living in Rio, and I knew that I really have to meet her.

After New Year, I spent another week in Rio before came back to São Paulo, and I had chance to meet Thai lady and she cooked a very big meal to welcome me :D Thanks a lot naka P'Nim. Even we live in a different city, but I feel more happier just to know that there's Thai person in this big country; Brazil.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any photo with her as we enjoyed talking and eating a lot. I knew that there's always next time :)
